Feature: Commercial Seed Production - Florida Native Seed Production Manual

Image of cover of Florida Native Seed Production ManualOne of the major contributions of the Plant Materials Program is the development of seed and plant production technology for commercial growers. Plant Materials Centers across the country are developing this technology for the species they work with.

This Current Feature highlights a new publication, the "Florida Native Seed Production Manual" which was developed in cooperation with the Florida Institute of Phosphate Research. The Manual covers seed production basics along with protocols for 11 native species and characteristics of these species.
